Finally Noosa has a bit of swell again due to a little storm and I’ve been more than enjoying it with my two best friends 🙂

Boat Day
Noosa is a perfect place to take your boat out and this is exactly what my friends and I spontaneously did the other day.
The only place to go out on the water with a boat is the official boat ramp at the river so we started at the river and drove up the river mouth into the open ocean. I saw Noosa, the beach and the groin from the other side and then we went to the National Park so to the popular surf spot Tea Tree and Granite Bay.
The surf was not very good that day and that is why we could take the boat out in the first place, but there were still a lot of waves trying to catch some of the decent waves….
We tried out the drone too and just swam around in the bays!
Afterwards my friend showed me his little, cute puppies that they recently got…

Home
I’ve been in Australia for 10 months now and therefore I made a little video of my home.
enjoy!
Melbourne Trip
My term break started great! After I had my friend from Brisbane over, I flew to Melbourne for 4 days to stay with some family friends.
This friend actually did a gap year, too in Hamburg for 2 months and this is how I met her. They stay in a beautiful house in St Kilda and their family consists out of a Mum, dad, two daughters Emily (my friend) and Amy and their cute god Archie. Their mum is originally German but she moved to Australia many years ago, so that she can speak german fluently and Emily and her dad can speak pretty good too.
Melbourne is a beautiful place to live and therefore visit. We decided to walk a lot around town and just find these amazing alleys with graffiti and other street art work on there. It was really amazing and just breathtaking pieces of art.
I was lucky enough to have good weather for some days when I was there so that we could go to the beach and just have a walk around their pretty neighborhood.
One day we decided that we should go into a museum that had over 200 different artist’s works displayed and it was truly amazing! They had all kinds of different rooms, some simple ones with just lights, about 100 different chair ideas, painting and drawings but there were also more complex ones like the flower room full of flowers and a room that had the art work displayed when you were lying down.
After that we went to a popular rooftop bar and had some delicious (non-alcoholic) cocktails and just enjoyed the evening!
Sadly my days in Melbourne were over way too fast and I had to catch a plane back to Noosa 🙁

Surf Festival of Noosa 2018
Surfing? Everyone loves it! Surfing with mates? Even better! Surfing at a real surf festival? Freaking amazing! This is what happens from the 10th March to 17th March in Noosa… the surf festival of Noosa.
People from around the world, especially Hawaii fly in to participate and watch the surfers and dogs dance and do their magic on the waves.
Saturday morning 7am. I was out and about to go surfing because the surf is pumping at the moment. So with a lot of other people I went out and caught these amazing waves and just had fun for a couple of hours… while we had fun surfing, the first competitions started with bodysurfing. People were watching from the beach and the rocks leading into the National Park. But everyone was waiting for the acrobatic surf of fathers and daughters and the famous dog surfing.
It really was amazing and breathtaking to watch these people do what they love. Not only did they surf but did tricks, carried people on their shoulders and balanced their dogs in all different ways. Here are some pictures and videos:

Surfing with mates
During the last week the swell finally picked up again and so we have waves to actually ride! The best thing to do is to tell your mates and go out with them on a Sunday morning and surf for hours…
This is exactly what I did 🙂
