Noosa Nationalpark Hike

Noosa is known for its beautiful Nationalpark and the amazing bays and hikes that can be done. A couple of weeks ago my friend and went to the Nationalpark starting from sunshine beach an finishing at main beach!

Sunshine beach has a stair pathway that leads into the National Park, but there is also a smaller trail that you can climb up and that leads to one of the beautiful fairy pools. These fairy pools are hidden during high tide, but low tide shows them just perfectly an people are able to swim in them and take photos. During low tide it is also possible to climb from these pools over a rock to the next little bay, which is a very secretive but good bay for surfing or just relaxing.

After this bay it’ll lead you further to another popular cliff jump and surf sport called hells gates and further on through either bush land shortcuts or a path along the edge with a clear view of the beautiful turquoise water!

After this a very famous surf bay which is also a nude beach called Alexandria Bay or just A- Bay stretches along for about a kilometer and leads further into the Nationalpark to other fairy pools that you can climb down to. Of course there are always lots of tourists taking pictures and jumping into them but if you go either early in the morning or arvo there will be less people.

After these fairy pools several surfing bays, like Granite, Tea Tree and Little Cove build the end part of the National Park to main beach.

My friend and I walked from about 11:30 am until 4 pm so basically the whole day but it is also possible to do it faster if you don’t go swimming that often or don’t take too long to take pictures 🙂

I would definitely recommend a walk or hike through Nationalpark as it is not only a whole day activity but also a very productive way to spend time in the nature, discover Noosa’s hidden beauty and enjoy time in the sun!
